One Holland Village is a pet-friendly shopping centre stocked with handy amenities to allow you and your furry buddy to roam around the mall hassle-free.
These features include water dispensers to save you from carrying an extra water bowl, hooks for leashing your pets outside shops, and designated pet lifts for senior or disabled pets to move between floors effortlessly.
As for pet-friendly restaurants, you and your pet can dine at Fireplace by Bedrock, Plain Meredith, Surrey Hills Grocer, Extra Virgin Pizza, and Ginkyo by Kinki.
1. Funan
For tech geeks
Boasting one of the most impressive glow-ups, Funan reopened in 2019 with a slew of cool features including an indoor cycling track and an IG-worthy underground pathway. One thing didn’t change though – it’s still known as the go-to shopping mall in Singapore for getting all sorts of techy stuff.
For a variety of electronics and appliances, you can head to the larger department stores – Best Denki and Courts. Many major brands also have their authorised stores in Funan including Dyson, DJI, Razer, Dell, Lenovo, and Nikon.
Activities and entertainment options are plenty too with an indoor rock climbing wall by Climb Central, plays by Wild Rice Theatre, and GV Funan to catch the latest flick.
Offering respite from the concrete jungle is a rooftop urban farm that’s open to the public from 10am-10pm daily and features a number of swings to relax. You can access it by taking the lift at Lobby A up to Level 7.

2. Kallang Wave Mall
For sporty folk & sneakerheads
You’ll find snowboards, surfboards, and skating gear at The Ride Side.

Located right next to the Singapore Sports Hub, Kallang Wave Mall is the one-stop shop for sports gear, sneakers, and more casual athleisure wear. Sports enthusiasts can check out the specialty stores too – The Ride Side for skateboarders, Western Corp for soccer fans, and CycleOxygen for cyclists.

3. Design Orchard
For designer fashionistas
We can’t talk about shopping and not mention Orchard Road – the OG when it comes to finding global brands. But today we’re putting a spotlight on Design Orchard – a home for local brands and labels. Fashionistas can get access to accessories and clothes from well-known local designers including Ginlee, Ling Wu, Pearly Lustre, and Photo Phactory.
There are also a number of local skincare brands such as Rooki Beauty and Re:erth and Solyp that have their retail space at Design Orchard. If you’re on the lookout for something unique, check out the dedicated space showcasing innovative products from budding designers.
As one of the newer retail spaces, the shopping mall stands out for its rooftop sitting area which can be spotted from the outside while strolling down the stretch. For a mid-shop coffee break, make your way to NOWAFTER Cafe to enjoy a cuppa along with various Korean-inspired desserts.

4. Plaza Singapura

For anyone who enjoys arts and crafts, Plaza Singapura is where it’s at. With 2 major retailers – Spotlight and Art Friend – you should have no problems finding all kinds of art supplies to suit your DIY project. The Spotlight at this mall is SG’s largest and has everything from fabrics and sewing tools to stationery and jewellery-making bits.
Plaza Singapura is one of the shopping malls in Singapore where it’s fun to hang out with your friends. You can play arcade games at Timezone or catch a movie at GV Plaza Singapura. As far as dining options go, there are many restaurants, cafes, and food kiosks.

5. The Shoppes At MBS
For the global shopper
Carrying more than 170 premium outlets, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands is a high-end shopping mall teeming with international designer brands – you name it, they have it. Dior, Versace, Chanel, Christian Louboutin, and Bottega Veneta, just to name a few.
Watch lovers and collectors will have a field day at the row of stores near the casino. If we’re name-dropping, MBS houses Audemars Piguet, Rolex, IWC, and Omega.
There’s lots more to do at MBS too. If you need a break from the shopping, take a Sampan Ride ($15/pax) to the Rain Oculus or check out one of the exhibits at the ArtScience Museum. The Spectra light show that takes place every night is another one to watch.

6. The Adelphi
For audiophiles
Anson Audio has 4 units in the mall, selling all sorts of audio equipment.
With an unassuming exterior, you might just walk past The Adelphi without realising that this mall is a mecca for audiophiles. A majority of the retailers here sell audio equipment for all sorts of budgets. You’ll find everything from high-end home theatre set-ups to more affordable speakers.
All the big names in the industry have authorised distributors here. We’re talking brands such as JBL, Yamaha, Seinheiser, Deviolet, Bowers & Wilkins, SONOS, and Marshall. If you’re looking for a karaoke system to install in your home or good-quality headphones, you know where to go.
Intermix Records sells records for as low as $20.
While this may be a niche interest, we had to mention the retro record stores in the basement. A little birdie told us even non-record player owners buy records here simply for the unique album artworks for display in their homes. But if you’re a true listener, you can find old and new records at these stores at an average price of $45 per record.

7. Bras Basah Complex
For book collectors
If nothing else, the bookstores make a pretty backdrop for the ‘Gram.
Calling all bookworms and lovers of bookstores. We know there’s nothing like the smell of old books and you’ll get plenty of whiffs at Bras Basah Complex, known for its secondhand bookstores. Besides fiction and non-fiction, there are also stores selling comic collections, textbooks, and speciality guides.

8. Jewel Changi
For every traveller visiting Singapore
This one’s a no-brainer. Jewel Changi is a must-visit shopping mall when you’re in Singapore. In fact, it could be the first mall you visit upon landing at Changi Airport given the convenient internal link from any of the terminals.
There is no dearth of shopping options here. Some highlights include the Nike flagship store where you can customise your kicks, Muji, Tokyu Hands, and Urban Revivo.
Did you even go to Jewel Changi if you don’t have a pic with the giant waterfall?

Lucky Plaza is one of the best shopping malls in Singapore for clothes if you’re looking to upgrade your wardrobe without breaking the bank. Lucky Thrifty is one of their bigger thrift stores as they have three units available within the complex with prices ranging from as low as $2-$12.
Otherwise, there are other stores that you can consider such as Vivi K, LPB Thrift, Thrift Apparel, Lucky Flea Market, and Ok Ukay Ukay to get the most out of your thrift haul.

10. Ngee Ann City

Ngee Ann City is a highly esteemed premier mall that offers a blend of luxury and local brands but that’s not all the mall is known for. It also has one of the biggest bookstores in Southeast Asia – Books Kinokuniya, which carries over 500,000 books in stock.

VivoCity holds the title of Singapore’s largest mall, with approximately 340 shops spread across seven floors, catering to shoppers of all ages.
